Native web wallet generators can all have issues; 20 million dollars can disappear in an instant. Cardano DeFi's security infrastructure still needs a few more years of refinement.

CryptoWorld News reports that SecondFi has warned it may face a loss of approximately $20 million, stemming from a security incident related to the native Cardano web wallet generation feature. It has suspended the relevant service review. An initial estimate puts the loss at around 16 million ADA. SlowMist’s founder said the figure may be far higher, involving more than 129 million ADA and other tokens. There is currently no final technical report or compensation plan, and independent review updates will continue to be shared.
