The main opposition People Power Party (PPP) in South Korea has reignited debate over the country's election system by pushing to scrap early voting. A PPP lawmaker introduced a bill to abolish early voting, extend election day voting to two days, and revive the absentee voting system. This move comes after a ballot shortage controversy during the June 3 local elections.
