Golden Finance reports that on June 24th, the on-chain volatility strategy execution layer Hypersurface announced the acquisition of Bitcoin vault infrastructure provider Acre, with the specific acquisition amount not disclosed. Hypersurface stated that this acquisition will combine Acre's Bitcoin deposit and distribution technology with Hypersurface's on-chain volatility execution engine to launch an on-chain managed Bitcoin strategy vault called HSBPI, which will be managed by quantitative digital asset investment firm Monarq Asset Management.
Hypersurface said that as part of the transition plan, existing Acre users will have the opportunity to migrate their deposits to HSBPI while continuing to self-custody their Bitcoin.
