According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on June 19, the Indian Ministry of Finance's Tax Department issued Notification No. 12/2026-Customs(ADD) stating that it accepted the first sunset review final recommendation made by the Indian Department of Commerce on March 20, 2026, regarding polyethylene terephthalate resin with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.72 deciliters per gram or higher originating from or imported from China. The decision is to continue imposing anti-dumping duties on the involved Chinese products for a period of 5 years, with a duty rate of $200.66 per ton. The involved products are bottle-grade PET resin, excluding recycled PET resin. This case involves products under Indian Customs codes 39076110, 39076190, 39076930, and 39076990. The measures shall take effect from the date of publication of this notice in the official gazette.
