Deep Tide TechFlow news. On June 24, the Goldfinch community approved the GIP-87 proposal, deciding to initiate an orderly shutdown of Goldfinch Prime and move Goldfinch into “maintenance mode.” Subsequent work will mainly focus on recovering legacy loan pools, ensuring users can continue to receive repayment funds they are entitled to via historical applications, and completing the foundation’s operational and administrative wrap-up.

According to the proposal, Goldfinch will stop pursuing new protocol development and growth plans. Meanwhile, Warbler Labs will receive a fixed service fee of $150k to support Goldfinch Prime and the foundation’s shutdown and transition arrangements, as well as the technical and operational maintenance required to dispose of legacy loan pools over the next two years or longer. The proposal was ultimately approved with 100% support, and the number of votes clearly exceeded the legal threshold.
