In the first half, Daichi Kamada and Ayase Ueda scored one after the other, giving Japan a 2-0 lead. In the 69th minute, Junya Ito scored, making it 3-0 for Japan. In the 84th minute, Ayase Ueda scored with a header, completing a brace, and Japan led 4-0. Japan ultimately won 4-0. After two group matches, Japan has 1 win and 1 draw with 4 points, ranking second in the group. Tunisia lost both matches and was eliminated early.
