The three major U.S. stock indices all close lower

Golden Finance reports that on June 24th, the three major U.S. stock indices all closed lower, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.09%, the NASDAQ down 2.21%, and the S&P 500 index down 1.43%. The NASDAQ 100 index, which has a higher concentration of tech stocks, fell 3.29%. Chip stocks were heavily hit, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropping 7.87%, marking its largest decline since June 5th. SanDisk and Micron Technology fell over 13%, ARM dropped over 10%, Qualcomm, Western Digital, and Applied Materials fell over 8%, ASML and NXP Semiconductors fell over 7%, TSMC and Intel fell over 6%, AMD dropped over 5%, NVIDIA declined 4.15%, and Broadcom fell over 3%. SpaceX rose nearly 1%, ending a three-day losing streak.
