Golden Finance reports that on June 23, the Shenzhen Municipal Committee held a special meeting, deeply implementing the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, fulfilling the work requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, and seizing opportunities to advance the city’s “six networks” planning and construction with high quality and high efficiency.

The meeting emphasized that efforts should focus on key areas and deliver targeted breakthroughs to enhance the level and capacity of the “six networks” planning and construction. It called for building a modern water network that is intensive, efficient, and safe and reliable; improving a system with complete water resource allocation and water supply security; strengthening a solid and resilient risk prevention network for “floods, waterlogging, and tides”; and creating a prosperous, beautiful, and green ecological network.

It stressed that efforts should focus on expanding capacity and improving quality, and on building a new power grid that is intelligent and flexible. Continuous emphasis should be placed on areas such as optimizing corridor layouts, strengthening network construction, and advancing the digital-intelligent transformation of the power grid, in order to build a new power grid that is more robust, greener, and smarter.

It further emphasized that efforts should focus on system-wide layout and flexible supply to build a computing power network; increasing the supply of computing power capacity; deepening interconnection and interoperability among computing resources; and paying greater attention to coordination between computing and electricity.

It highlighted that efforts should focus on high-speed ubiquity and integrated enablement to build a new generation of communication network. Steps should be taken to accelerate the advancement of the construction of national-level Internet backbone direct connection points, the R&D and commercial deployment of 6G technologies, the rollout of “dual ten-gigabit” networks, and satellite network application.

It also called for focusing on coordinated collaboration and efficient connection to build resilient safety for the city’s underground utility pipe networks. Efforts should adhere to truth from facts and practical and useful measures; strengthen overall planning coordination; accelerate renovation of aging infrastructure; enhance digital empowerment; and build underground comprehensive utility tunnels in accordance with local conditions.

Lastly, it emphasized building a logistics network characterized by internal and external connectivity and efficient circulation. The targets are to achieve broader connectivity, stronger facilities, higher value, and more updated scenarios; further optimize the functional layout; and coordinate the advancement of the construction of a modern logistics network system.
