Brothers, HYPE is hovering around $62.9 today, down 6.8% in 24 hours. A few days ago, it hit a new high of $76.9, and this correction has already dropped nearly 20%—just after the hype, cold water was poured on it, pretty stimulating, huh?

Don’t rush to call a collapse. On the surface, it’s a pullback after a rally; in reality, it’s a breather after a big run—after all, it went from just over $20 all the way to $76, hardly stopping in between. On-chain data also confirms this: whales may be showing paper losses, but they’re still accumulating on dips. One address just added another 40k HYPE tokens, worth about $2.51 million. Smart money isn’t fleeing; they’re just repositioning at high levels.

Positive news—fundamentals are solid. The platform’s monthly trading volume exceeds 170 billion, with annualized fee revenue of $1.06 billion, 99% of which is used for buybacks and burns, totaling 41 million tokens burned. This is real deflationary money, not just empty promises.

But there’s internal conflict—main players are fighting. According to Coinglass, the whale long-short ratio is 1.02, almost evenly split. Open longs are showing a paper loss of $180 million, while shorts are actually making $96 million. Who’s supporting the market, and who’s trying to dump? Plus, on July 6, there’s a large unlock of $676 million—this risk hasn’t been cleared yet.

Risks—most worried about market instability. If BTC drops below $60k, altcoins will likely suffer too. Also, HYPE’s FDV is approaching $70 billion, which isn’t cheap—once the narrative cools, there’s plenty of room for a correction.

Bottom line: $60. This psychological level plus the convergence zone of moving averages can’t hold, and below that is the Fibonacci strong support at $54. The first resistance is at $70, with the previous high at $76-77; only after breaking through those can we talk about $80+.

具体操作建议:

· Long idea: Try small longs at $60-62, with a stop-loss below $58, keeping position size under 20%. First target is $70, then reduce and protect gains.
· Short idea: Short at $70-71, with a stop-loss at $73.5, targeting $64. The risk-reward ratio is decent, but keep an eye on unlock news.
