Many people enter the market with a few hundred dollars, thinking about getting rich overnight. To be honest, if you don't change this mindset, no matter how much money you have, you'll end up losing it all anyway.
I know a young guy who just graduated, starting with $600, and in four months, he made over $40k, never once getting wiped out.
It's not some insider information, just three simple rules that sound very basic but are truly effective.
First: Use your money in parts
With small funds, the biggest risk is going all-in at once; one mistake and it's gone. He split his $600 into three parts: one for short-term trades to make quick profits and then exit, one for swing trading based on trends, and the last as a safety fund that stays untouched.
It sounds simple, but most people, when excited, end up combining all three and going all-in.
Second: Don’t make random moves
Most of the time in the crypto market, prices are sideways. Trading every day without a big trend is just giving away money.
He’s good at waiting; if there’s no opportunity, he stays out of the market, sometimes for several days without checking.
He only acts when the trend is clear and signals are in place.
Take profits early—if you don’t withdraw, it’s never a real profit.
Third: Stop-loss and take-profit must be executed
Small amounts can’t withstand big losses; one heavy loss can wipe out all previous gains.
He always sets stop-losses for each trade and exits without hesitation when hit;
Take profits at the target and reduce position size—don’t be greedy;
Most importantly, never add to a losing position.
Many people get stuck on the idea of “just adding a little more to break even,” but the more they add, the deeper they sink.
These three rules aren’t technically complex, but they go against human nature.
If you can avoid going all-in, avoid random trading, and stick to stop-losses, small funds can grow steadily over time.
The market isn’t short of opportunities; what’s missing is the patience to wait for them.
Don’t always think about turning things around overnight—first, learn to survive. $BTC
