New support zone: $1,600 - $1,630. This is the current final psychological threshold; $1,633 is today’s lowest point. If it tests this level again without breaking below, there could be a short-term oversold rebound.

· New resistance zone (turned into a pressure level): The original support at $1,680 - $1,700 has now become strong resistance. If the rebound cannot surpass this, it can only be considered a “weak rebound,” not a reversal.

Today’s new strategy (follow the trend)

Currently, it’s not recommended to blindly buy the dip; prioritize shorting on rebounds:

1. Best short entry: If the price rebounds oversold to the $1,670 - $1,690 range and shows obvious stagnation, consider shorting. Set stop-loss above $1,720, target toward **$1,630, and if it breaks below, then aim for $1,600**.
2. Aggressive ultra-short-term long: Only when a 5-minute volume-based reversal signal appears near $1,630 - $1,640, take a small position to catch the rebound. Stop-loss must be strictly below $1,600, target $1,680, quick in and out, never hold on to a losing position.
3. Break-down chase short: If the price volume breaks through $1,630, take a small short position, with the target directly at the integer level of $1,600.

Special notes

· Don’t catch falling knives: Before a volume-based long lower shadow appears at $1,633, do not heavily buy the dip.
· US stock linkage: If US stocks open weaker tonight (Beijing time 21:30), it will further drag down ETH. Pay attention to the rhythm.

The current core is defensive counterattack; protecting capital is more important than chasing rebounds. Do you currently hold positions? If you are holding losing longs, it’s recommended to reduce positions on the rebound near $1,680, and don’t hold on stubbornly.
