According to Fortune, cryptocurrency data analytics company Allium announced the completion of a $40 million Series B funding round led by Amplify Partners, with participation from Kleiner Perkins and Theory Ventures, among others. The valuation was not disclosed. Allium is headquartered in New York and primarily cleans and analyzes blockchain data for institutional clients, including Coinbase, a16z crypto, and others. DeFiLlama also uses some of Allium's data. Allium co-founder and CEO Ethan Chan stated that Visa and the Federal Reserve System in the United States have cited their data, indicating that institutional demand for blockchain data is increasing.
