CryptoWorld News reports that Craig Raw, the developer of the Bitcoin wallet Sparrow Wallet, stated that Apple has demanded he resolve account issues by June 30, or his Apple Developer account could be terminated. Raw said that the placeholder app he previously submitted to the App Store was only to remind users that Sparrow is only available as a desktop version, and that the mobile version of Sparrow might be counterfeit software. Raw stated that since 2023, more than ten fake Sparrow apps have appeared on the App Store, some of which trick users into entering their wallet seed phrases. Protos reported that Apple has not publicly responded to Raw's claims.
