Raising the price is just to sell off.

The Federal Reserve has also turned hawkish. The unlocking that comes next will bring heavy sell pressure. Institutions care about cash flow—so they’ll unlock first, sell first to get their money back. One cycle like this can last for years. Mainly because they’ve already run off for now and can go play other IPOs and still earn their way back—after eating multiple major IPOs, prices here are even lower, so it’s the perfect chance for them to buy the dip. How could they not run for it?

It won’t be a pump; the narrative has already fallen apart, and the support can’t hold anymore. Most retail and large investors mostly won’t come back. Waiting for other major IPOs later isn’t worth it—being trapped here isn’t worth it. Later, watching other IPOs where people make money, there will be retail investors who sell at even lower prices to cut losses.
