The $1.7 trillion asset manager Franklin Templeton closed its 250 Digital acquisition and created Franklin Crypto. The new division will offer institutional investors actively managed cryptocurrency strategies. Franklin Templeton will invest its own capital into these liquid strategies, and financial terms were not disclosed.
