From now on, celebrities must use their real names; Zhang Linghe will have to be called Zhang Jiawei.

Tencent today released the list of attending guests for the "2026 Tencent Video Annual Release" event, which includes the real names of several artists. Feng Shaofeng is called Feng Wei, Ying Er is called Liu Ying, Li Yitong is called Li Xue...
Come and see what these stars' real names actually are...
This is due to the recent dispute over the order of actor credits in TV dramas and web dramas, with relevant departments jointly issuing the "Notice on Regulating Actor Credits in TV Dramas (Web Dramas)" on June 12.
There are some interesting points in the "Notice."
1⃣ Actor credits should be managed categorically, and titles such as "Leading Actor," "Special Appearance," and "Performer" should be used according to the role's nature, screen time, and actual participation, without arbitrary modifications or adding other titles.
2⃣ In principle, actor credits should use their legal names. If a widely recognized stage name is used, it should follow the standard format of "Real Name (Stage Name)," and not use only the stage name, English name, or nickname.
3⃣ The number of "Special Appearances" should generally not exceed 10.
4⃣ All external promotional materials and public information, including posters, trailers, press releases, official social media content, and offline event materials, must have actor credits consistent with the opening credits and should not differ based on platform, scene, or channel.
The "Notice" will officially take effect from July 10, 2026, so it looks like Zhang Linghe will have to be called Zhang Jiawei from now on.
