According to Bloomberg, Ghana's local cryptocurrency exchange Hyro Exchange, after recently completing a seed round of funding, is considering a new round of equity issuance to expand its business in Ghana and major markets across Africa. The report states that a local Ghanaian investor has acquired a 10% stake in the company, valuing Hyro Exchange at several million dollars. Hyro Exchange founder and CEO Del Titus Bawuah said the company is in talks with international investors to sell an equivalent proportion of equity as part of a broader capital strategy to support its expansion under regulatory frameworks.
