My Gate Trade Story

My journey on Gate started with curiosity and a willingness to learn. As someone who is still new to trading, I wanted to explore different opportunities and understand how financial markets work. Since I didn't have much experience, I made my very first traditional finance (TradFi) trade by buying KEEL stock.
To be honest, I didn't know much about the company at the time. I was still learning the basics of stocks, charts, and market trends, so I randomly chose KEEL as my first investment. After buying it, I started paying closer attention to the market and learned how stock prices can move up and down. Even though my first trade wasn't based on deep research, it became an important part of my learning experience.
Aside from stocks, I also decided to hold USDT. As a beginner, I wanted to keep part of my portfolio in something more stable. USDT gave me a sense of security because its value is designed to stay close to one US dollar. It helped me understand the importance of balancing risk while exploring different investments.
Later on, I became curious about USD1 and decided to hold some as well. My decision wasn't driven by a specific strategy but by a desire to learn more about different digital assets and how they function within the market. Exploring new assets has been one of the most interesting parts of my journey.
Another memorable moment was receiving GT from a Gate Exchange event. Since it was a reward, I chose to hold it rather than sell it immediately. For me, it represents not only an asset but also a reminder of my participation in the Gate community.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that trading is a continuous learning process. It's important to research before investing, manage risks carefully, and stay patient. Every trade, whether profitable or not, teaches something valuable. As a beginner, I know I still have a lot to learn, but each step helps me gain more knowledge and confidence.
Today, I am still new to trading and continuing my journey on Gate. My portfolio may be small, but every asset I hold represents a lesson, an experience, and a step forward in becoming a better trader and investor.
