🇺🇸🇮🇳BREAKING: Donald Trump Jr. held a private meeting with Indian billionaire Gautam Adani in Ahmedabad in November last year while Adani was actively facing federal fraud and bribery charges in the US, Bloomberg has reported.

The DOJ dropped those charges last month, following reports that Adani's lawyers had offered to invest $10 billion in the US. Adani had also hired Boris Epshteyn, a key personal lawyer and adviser to President Trump, to assist with his defense.
A spokesperson for Trump Jr. said the meeting had "zero to do" with the DOJ's decision to drop the case.
The timeline is the story. A private meeting with the president's son, a $10 billion investment offer, a Trump-linked lawyer on retainer, and then a federal case dropped. Each piece has an explanation. Together they form a pattern that the dropped charges alone never could.
