According to Nikkei News, SBI Group is expected to issue the yen-pegged stablecoin JPYSC as early as this week, having previously received approval from the Financial Services Agency of Japan, making it the first trust-type yen stablecoin issuance case in Japan. JPYSC will be issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank as the issuer, and SBI VC Trade will be responsible for trading and circulation. SBI plans to integrate it with financial services within the group, such as securities, asset management, and banking, to enhance user convenience.
