A thief entered a woman's house in the middle of the night to steal, but he found her sitting upright.

Seeing this, he shouted at her and said:
"Hey, what are you still doing awake for, old woman?"
The old woman immediately realized that a thief had entered her. But with wisdom and a calm voice, she said to him:
"Son, from your appearance, you are a decent person with manners and respect, it’s not in your nature, but the hardship of life has forced you into this act."
She continued saying:
"Don’t worry, son, I have a lot of money and a gold chain in this house. Take them all and go, may Allah bless you, bring you relief. But please, before you leave, I just woke up from a very frightening dream that terrified me greatly, and I want you to help me interpret it."
The thief burst into laughter in his heart and said:
"Surely, this old woman is joking, or maybe she’s not sane?"
Then he frowned and said to her:
"Alright, tell me your dream, I will interpret it for you."
The old woman stepped back and said:
"I dreamt I was walking along the edge of a river, and my foot slipped and got stuck between a rock, and I was about to fall into the water. I started shouting with all my strength, saying: ‘Help me, Audu! Help me, Auduuuuu! Come quickly, Audu!’"
The thief was filled with amazement and asked her:
"Who is this Audu?"
Suddenly! Audu entered the room as if he had been shot. Without hesitation, he grabbed the thief and started beating him mercilessly!
Seeing that the beating was severe, the old woman said:
"That’s enough, son Audu! Have mercy on him, don’t let him die in your hands!"
Then the thief burst into tears, breathing heavily, and said:
"Just kill me, Audu! Keep beating me! I deserve it, because I came to steal, not to interpret dreams!" 🤣
