Ripple Gains Preliminary MiCA License Before EU Deadline

Luxembourg's financial regulator granted Ripple preliminary approval for a CASP license under MiCA ahead of the July 1 deadline. Ripple said final approval would let Ripple offer regulated crypto services across all 30 EEA countries through one regulatory passport. Ripple said the pending CASP license and its EMI license issued in February 2026 would enable full crypto asset and stablecoin payments infrastructure.
