We all have our Aguero trading moments, and mine was in May (14th May, to be precise).

I recorded my highest ROI on a single trade: 42.25%.

The PnL wasn't as massive as you might think, but we all know that a 42.25% ROI is no small feat.

Back then, I didn't think much of it. I took my profit, smiled, and moved on to the next opportunity. But looking back now, I realize it took more courage than I gave myself credit for.

Not the courage to click the buy button, but the courage to trust my analysis when the market wasn't making things obvious. The courage to stick to my plan when emotions wanted me to either exit too early or hold for too long.

What makes that trade special to me isn't the profit itself. It's the reminder that preparation and patience can sometimes align to produce moments that feel magical.

Of course, trading isn't a fairytale. For every trade that goes my way, there are others that humble me and remind me that the market owes nobody anything.

That's why my biggest lesson isn't how to make a 42.25% ROI. It's understanding that consistency matters more than a single winning trade. One great trade can boost your account, but good habits are what keep you in the game long enough to find the next opportunity.

That trade gave me profit, but more importantly, it gave me confidence
Not the dangerous kind that leads to overtrading, but the kind that comes from knowing that if I trust my process, opportunities will always come again.
