CoinWorld News, Grok Build's terminal programming agent launches the /goal autonomous mode, supporting execution of multi-step engineering tasks through a single command. Users only need to input /goal followed by the additional target (e.g., /goal migrate the auth module to the new API) to start, and the agent will automatically plan the route, generate a checklist, and loop through code modifications and testing verification until the goal is achieved. During execution, you can use /goal status (check progress), /goal pause (pause), /goal resume (resume), and /goal clear (terminate). When the task is completed and verified, the panel status will automatically switch to complete.

/goal Migrate the auth module This example sentence feels so real, it seems like it was written for taking over an old project.

Automatically running test verification loops is interesting, but will it get stuck in an infinite loop when encountering flaky tests?

The design of the pause and resume feature is well-received, at least it leaves room for pulling the network cable.
