The three major U.S. stock indices all opened slightly lower; storage and chip stocks rose.

Golden Finance reports, June 22 — The three major U.S. stock indices all opened slightly lower, with the Nasdaq down 0.15%, the Dow down 0.02%, and the S&P 500 down 0.01%. Storage and chip stocks rose, with Micron Technology up over 5%, SanDisk up over 4%, Western Digital and Intel up over 3%, and Corning up over 2%. SpaceX fell over 4%, as the company launched its first series of senior unsecured bonds, which will use net proceeds to repay outstanding loans.
