The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services has released the July hearing schedule, with topics covering the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy and regulatory legislation for the Clarity Act.

On June 22, the Chair of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services, French Hill, announced this year’s July hearing schedule. The agenda covers five core topics: the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy, consumer financial regulation, digital asset legislation, financial crime regulation, and the housing finance system.

According to the published schedule, the full details of the hearings are as follows:

At 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on July 14, the full committee will hold a hearing on the “Semiannual Monetary Policy Report of the Federal Reserve.” The next day at the same time, the full committee will also hold a special hearing on the “Consumer Financial Protection Bureau” semiannual report.

At 10:00 a.m. on July 17, the Digital Assets, Financial Technology and AI Subcommittee will conduct a focused discussion on how to unlock the innovation potential of the financial industry under the Clarity Act. This is also the only in-person crypto regulatory special field hearing scheduled for July.

In addition, at 10:00 a.m. on July 21, the relevant authorities will hold a supervisory hearing on financial crime enforcement networks; later that afternoon at 2:00 p.m., a special regulatory hearing on the Federal Housing Loan Bank system will be held.

It is worth noting that among this series of hearings, except for the digital asset session on the Clarity Act held in New York City, all other hearings will be held in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Overall, this series of July hearing initiatives fully reflects the U.S. Congress’s determination to accelerate the implementation of the regulatory framework for the crypto industry. The subsequent progress of the legislation will also directly affect the compliance path for digital assets in the United States.
