60k USD to 230k USD, never pulled an all-nighter the whole time, didn't even touch altcoins.

Others rely on quick moves, I rely on three "dull knives"—to put it simply, a set of "no greed, no gambling" dumb methods.

This year's market, I avoided about 80% of the pitfalls. Moving slow, ironically, became the fastest way.
$MOVE
First knife: divide the position to withstand shocks, never go all-in.
Now with bulls and bears tearing back and forth, going all-in basically hands the head to the market makers.
My approach: split 60k USD into three parts—#我的Gate交易时刻
Short-term: move at most twice a day, exit after gaining 2%-3%, enough to cover fees and a meal;
Trend position: wait for the weekly MA30 to cross above MA60, and the price to break above the previous high before entering, take 30% profit first and withdraw half of the principal, leave the rest with a 10% trailing stop;
Backup position: only used to fill gaps, never add new money into it.
In a choppy market, this division always keeps the chips for a comeback.
Second knife: only follow the trend, avoid getting caught in sideways markets.
Newbies lose their principal, nine out of ten die from reckless trading in sideways markets.
I set a strict rule for myself: only trade when "the daily MA30 is above MA60 + volume breaks previous high," and turn off the software at other times.
This year, nearly 60% of the time was sideways, many people watch charts daily, chasing highs and selling lows, burning through fees and getting buried;
I was fine, during that time I focused on fitness, spent time with family, and avoided most of the false signals—sideways periods don’t generate profits, only anxiety. #Crypto Survival Rules
Third knife: control yourself first, then earn from the market.
Most beginners blow up their accounts because they have no discipline. I set three iron rules for myself:
Unconditionally stop loss at 3% loss per trade, no holding through losses or adding to losing positions;
When floating profit exceeds 10%, move the stop-loss back to break-even, prioritize capital preservation before profit;
Log out of the app promptly at 11 PM, stay up late once and punish myself by banning trading the next day.
If I get itchy, I delete the app—what I don’t see, I don’t worry about, much more effective than toughing it out.
#Gate股票7x24小时交易 The era of "guessing big or small" is long gone; in sideways markets, rules matter.
Sharpen these three dull knives: risk control through position division, waiting for the trend without reckless moves, discipline to suppress emotions—when the next wave comes, you’ll be able to catch it steadily.
