Goldman Sachs: Hedge funds' first net sell of global stocks in five weeks

Golden Finance reports that on June 22, data from Goldman Sachs' prime brokerage division shows that last week, hedge funds became the net sellers of global stocks for the first time in five weeks, with the largest sell-offs in North America and European markets. The Goldman Sachs team noted that the ratio of short selling to long buying was 1.3 to 1, with all major regions, except for developed Asian markets, experiencing net selling.
