According to Bloomberg, digital bank Revolut plans to launch services in South Africa, one of Africa's largest economies, as early as 2028, and has already seen strong demand locally. Revolut South Africa head Jacques Meyer stated that the number of people on the company's waiting list is rapidly approaching 100k. Revolut is headquartered in London and offers digital banking, payments, wealth management, and crypto services, with approximately 75 million global users.
