What is the best way to maintain health?
1. First: Strengthen the liver, walk more, walk a few kilometers every day, starting slow and then speeding up.
2. Second: Strengthen the kidneys, tiptoe more, stand with feet together, slowly rise onto your toes, then slowly lower down, starting with 30 repetitions once, five times a day. Over time, increase the repetitions.
3. Third: Strengthen the spleen, twist your waist more, rotate your waist left and right to move your body.
4. Fourth: Strengthen the stomach, rub your belly more, clockwise and counterclockwise alternately, a few minutes each time. It’s best before meals and before bed.
5. Fifth: Strengthen the lungs, do deep breathing more, find a place with fresh air every day, inhale deeply, exhale slowly.
6. Sixth: Strengthen the intestines, push your abdomen more, use your palms to push from the chest cavity down to the lower abdomen to aid digestion. Tap the belt meridian more.
7. Seventh: Strengthen the gallbladder, tap your legs more, gently tap along the outer thigh from top to bottom.
8. Eighth: Strengthen the brain, comb your hair more, use a comb or fingers to comb from the forehead to the back of the head. Multiple times a day is fine.
9. Ninth: Strengthen immunity, get more sun, choose appropriate times to let your body fully absorb the nourishment of sunlight.
10. Soak your feet, soak your feet well before sleep. Feet are the second heart of the human body. Foot soaking is very important: stick to daily foot soaking to promote blood circulation. For athlete’s foot, foot odor, or itching, soak feet in water with half a pound of white vinegar, then use a cotton swab dipped in Xiao Qi Wai Yong Yao Fang foot ointment to apply to affected toes, a thin layer before bed. Not only does it stop itching, but the next day your shoes won’t have a strange smell, and your feet will become smooth and comfortable, fresh and relaxed.
11. Sleep early and have abundant energy. The time from 11 pm to 1 am is crucial for nourishing liver blood and restoring the body, so try not to stay up late.
12. Tiptoe to maintain health, supplement the kidneys, strengthen the root, and stimulate the middle qi. Spend a few minutes each day on tiptoes, which can help relieve foot fatigue, enhance kidney function, and improve overall health.
13. Eat breakfast early and dinner late, sleep well. Eat a little less at dinner, about 70% full is enough. When digestion feels slightly hungry, you can prepare to sleep.
14. Massage, spend 20 minutes daily massaging shoulders, neck, trapezius, cervical spine, waist, and legs to keep the whole body relaxed, avoid shoulder and neck pain, back pain, and leg aches. Stick to it for a month and you’ll see surprises!
15. Control sugar intake: eat fewer candies, cakes, milk teas. Drink some lemon water daily, eat a few red dates, and take blue shield VCVE grape seed extract internally. It can effectively supplement the nutrients your body needs, and also help you shed roughness and dullness, making your skin glow as if lit by a light. Simple and convenient, it works all over the body. No worries about uneven skin tone; your skin will become evenly fine and translucent, with a naturally bright, white feel.
16. Hiking, surprisingly, the simplest way to strengthen the liver is actually hiking. Moderate walking in daily life not only exercises the body but also promotes blood circulation in the liver, helping it better perform metabolism and detoxification.
Stay away from “five labors and seven injuries”: avoid prolonged eye strain, bed rest, sitting, standing, and walking too long; prevent excessive joy, anger, worry, overthinking, sadness, fear, and surprise.
17. Drink warm boiled water, carry a thermos everywhere, drink plain water, sometimes add healthful ingredients, take a sip when thirsty, enjoy the comfort.
18. Sleep early and wake early. Nighttime is when the body's metabolism is most vigorous. Going to bed early and rising early can promote melanin excretion, skin regeneration, maintain skin elasticity, and delay aging.
19. Hair care: keep hair clean, especially avoid greasy bangs. If you can’t wash your hair daily, switch to oil-control shampoo like MFAY, a hidden gem similar to Kérastase. Washing hair every three days feels like the whole head is purified, very fresh and clean! After blow-drying, hair is fluffy like spring-loaded, never flat.
Big picture health tips: avoid obvious harm to the body, consume balanced and sufficient nutrients, do moderate exercise, get enough sleep, avoid overthinking, and keep a joyful mood.
20. Leg lifts in the air, can strengthen the knees. This exercise trains the muscles around the knee joint, increasing stability and flexibility. Regular leg lifts can prevent knee diseases like arthritis.
21. Avoid excessive self-pressure, focus on feeling happiness and joy—this is the first priority in life. Work and KPIs are endless; enjoy the present moment, even if a bit slower. Lighten your mental load to move forward better.
22. Give yourself positive mental affirmations, believe you can handle life’s challenges, and trust yourself to face the unknown. Always consider how you feel first, think about whether you need to compromise for reality, weigh options appropriately, and make choices.
23. Maintain social connections, chat with friends, take walks, meet for meals, participate in offline activities during leisure or busy times. Healthy, optimistic, positive social activities help increase resilience against depression and make you more relaxed and at ease.
The simplest way to health is following natural rhythms: rise with the sun, rest at sunset, have reasonable meals, exercise moderately, and keep a good mood—this is the most effective health-preserving method.
24. Stick to “Three Less”:
Less talking, to nurture qi
Less eye use, to nurture spirit
Less desire, to nurture essence
