Iranian Speaker: Iran and the U.S. should jointly ensure Lebanon's territorial integrity

Golden Finance reports that on June 23, the head of the Iranian negotiating delegation and Speaker of the Iranian parliament, Kalibaf, said that the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding clearly emphasized ending the war against Iran and its allies. Kalibaf said that in the Swiss negotiations, both Iran and the U.S. reached a conclusion, and that Iran and the United States should jointly ensure Lebanon’s territorial integrity. The memorandum of understanding already includes guarantees for territorial integrity, and implementation should continue to be advanced. To this end, both sides agreed to establish a coordination center to resolve the relevant issues, so that the people of Lebanon can return to their homes and to prompt Israeli forces to withdraw from Lebanese territory.
