Stamer states that the UK Labour Party's new leadership election will begin on July 9.

Golden Finance reported that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on June 22, when announcing his resignation, that the election for the new leader of the UK Labour Party will begin on July 9. Starmer said he has asked the Labour Party’s National Executive Committee to draw up a timetable for the leadership election, that the nomination process will be launched on July 9, and that it will be completed before the summer recess of Parliament. This means the new Labour Party leader will be chosen before Parliament reconvenes in September. (Xinhua News Agency)
