BlockBeats News, June 23 — According to CNN, Iran said on Monday that it will “continue to cooperate with the United Nations nuclear watchdog” “according to existing procedures.” Previously, senior U.S. officials said that Tehran had agreed to allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to return to Iran, which Iran denied.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Agency quoted Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Baghaei as saying that Iran’s interactions with the International Atomic Energy Agency will be “in accordance with Iran’s obligations under the safeguards agreement” and “in line with resolutions adopted by parliament and decisions made by the Supreme National Security Council.”
