I've always felt that quantitative trading is a process with very poor real-time feedback.


From testing to live trading, and then to actual deployment, there are countless hurdles.
Most of the time before was about suppressing you, encountering all kinds of problems;
After going live, you'll also face various issues.
The secondary market changes very rapidly; if you're hot today, someone else might be hot tomorrow.
After developing a strategy, if it can't keep up with the market, it might be eliminated before even reaching live trading.
