Everyone talks about their first big profit. I’ll tell you about my first real patience.

I didn’t find this project by chance. I read it for weeks. I researched the team, studied their previous work, and quietly watched community chats. I read the white paper twice and made notes on parts I didn’t understand. I had a feeling: it’s reliable. So I bought and started waiting.

A week passed, and it dropped by 10%. “This is normal,” I told myself.
A month passed, and it dropped by 30%. My friends started calling. “Are you still holding it? It’s a waste of time.”

Every morning, I opened the chart. Red candles screamed at me to sell. But the research notes on my desk told me to wait. During that waiting—on the days when it dropped—I learned something new every day: price and value are not the same thing. Price moves up and down with fear; value shows itself over time.

I stopped checking my wallet and kept following the project itself. I kept a journal. With each fall, I wrote one sentence explaining why I wasn’t selling.

On day 73, the news came. The project announced an important partnership. In a single candle period that day, it jumped by 40%. My phone was flooded with messages. But I didn’t sell. Because my goal wasn’t a short spike—it was a long journey.

After six months, it had grown 4 times from my initial entry. Did I make a profit? Yes, I did. But my real gain wasn’t in the wallet. My real gain was understanding this sentence to the bone: “The market rolls money from the impatient to the patient.”

That was my trading moment. Charts change, and the noise never stops. But the principles remain.
