Asia’s leverage AI betting hits a record: South Korea’s SK Hynix 2x long ETF assets under management reach $13 billion

Odaily Planet Daily News reports that The Kobeissi Letter said in a post on the X platform that the SK Hynix 2x leveraged long ETF listed in Hong Kong has an asset management scale of $13 billion, setting a historical high. This figure has grown by more than 3 times over the past 2 months, making it the second-largest product by size among around 250 listed ETFs in Hong Kong. The fund currently accounts for about 13% of the total assets in Hong Kong’s local ETF market, while also setting a record for the fastest growth in ETF asset management scale in Asia, ranking 4th globally. The fund was launched in October 2025, less than 8 months ago.
