Logging a recent futures position I just opened; taking a screenshot as a reminder to myself and to warn newcomers who are new to futures trading.
Position opened at 13:26 on June 22, 2026, in the SUIUSDT contract, 10x leverage long position, entry price 0.7095. Not long after, the market slightly retraced, and the current price dropped to 0.7077, with an unrealized loss of 2.49%.
Before trading with high leverage, I used to think a few points of fluctuation weren’t a big deal, but holding a 10x position made me realize how terrifying leverage can be. Small corrections in spot trading, when amplified by high leverage in futures, can directly double the losses, leaving little room for error.
I sincerely advise beginners who are new to the market not to rush into high leverage. Many people want to quickly profit with leverage, but the first to suffer losses are often the greedy. Risk management in trading should always come first; keeping positions small and setting proper stop-losses are essential.
This position screenshot is not only a record of this activity but also a warning to myself: in future trades, stay calm, avoid blindly over-leveraging or impulsive actions, and respect every tiny market fluctuation. #我的Gate交易时刻
