Recently reading "Naval's Book," there is a piece of advice that has been very helpful to me:

Rely on expertise, sense of responsibility, and leverage to arm yourself.
This has been a major insight for me during this bear cycle; by 2025, AI won't be so fierce, and we are all very busy, with everyone holding KOL titles and guiding the market.
At that time, I was keen on cover optimization and layout, while others were working hard on hooks for posts, content presentation formats, and so on.
The entire circle has fallen into a kind of technical collective regression, especially this year, as the market cools and AI becomes more widespread, this sentiment has become more serious.
Everyone is spending a lot of energy on algorithms, layout, editing, and multi-platform distribution formats, while the core computational power for the industry is negligible.
Uniform AI-generated compositions, post hooks, and broad-topic content are increasingly difficult to find content that can be read multiple times or worth collecting.
The confusing market makes everyone cover strategic laziness with tactical diligence!
I deeply support AI, and I also understand that in this era, this formalism is accelerating devaluation.
LLMs can generate exquisite long articles in one second, and agents can edit and produce videos nonstop 24 hours a day.
The most lacking thing now is perfect presentation formats.
Nobel laureate Herbert Simon once predicted: information consumes the receiver’s attention.
Therefore, the oversupply of information has led to a poverty of attention.
When the entire internet is filled with beautifully packaged garbage information, the public’s attention and market capital will eventually produce a physiological rejection, and then turn to seek genuine insights with soul.
I now feel that I am still far from being a KOL, because I have not yet become an opinion leader in a specific vertical field.
So this year, I cut a lot of content and collaborations unrelated to my track, forcing myself in a no-backdoor way to become an expert in the niche track.
Because the road ahead, the ability or ideas that AI cannot replace are my way out.
