Golden Finance reports that on June 22, Qatar and Pakistan issued a joint statement. The statement indicated that the first round of high-level talks held under the framework of the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding has concluded in Switzerland. Based on the memorandum, all parties agreed to establish a high-level committee to provide political oversight for mediation efforts. The chief negotiator will regularly report to the high-level committee. The high-level committee has agreed on a timeline to reach a final agreement within 60 days, laying the foundation for immediate initiation of further technical talks. Additionally, all parties agreed to establish a conflict resolution coordination team between the involved parties and the Lebanese Republic, with mediation support to ensure the termination of military operations in Lebanon in accordance with the memorandum of understanding. During the remaining time this week, technical talks will continue at the Bürgenstock resort in Switzerland to address all issues. (Jin10)
