BlockBeats News, June 22, Taiko posted on the X platform that it has confirmed its chain status verification mechanism was compromised, and all security assumptions for cross-chain bridges deployed on Taiko are no longer reliable.

Taiko states that it is coordinating with the security committee and ecosystem partners to control the situation, suspending the affected systems, and taking technical and legal actions. Taiko strongly recommends all users immediately withdraw funds from cross-chain bridges deployed on Taiko.

In addition, Taiko urgently requests centralized exchanges to suspend TAIKO token deposit services until further official notice is received. Previously, the Taiko ERC20 Vault was attacked, resulting in losses of over $1 million.
