Deep Tide TechFlow News — On June 22, Taiko issued a security notice stating that its chain state verification mechanism has been confirmed to be compromised, causing all security assumptions for cross-chain bridges deployed on Taiko to no longer be reliable. The project team said it is coordinating with the security committee and ecosystem partners to handle the incident, including suspending affected systems where possible, and taking the necessary technical and legal measures.

Taiko also strongly urges users to immediately withdraw funds from all bridges deployed on Taiko, and urgently requests that all centralized exchanges immediately suspend TAIKO deposits until further official notice. The project team also released multiple attacker addresses and stated that more information will be disclosed later.
