Last night, the US-Iran negotiations broke down, with two main reasons for failure:
1. Trump made reckless remarks, threatened Iran, and insulted Hezbollah.
2. Israel continued attacking Lebanon, and a comprehensive ceasefire agreement was not reached.
The biggest obstacle to US-Iran negotiations is Trump; every time there is progress in the talks, he starts talking nonsense and cannot control his mouth. Given the current pace of negotiations, it will be difficult for the US and Iran to reach an agreement within three to six months.
