CryptoWorld News reports that according to a recent ruling by a court in northern Netherlands, Bitcoin wallet addresses and on-chain transaction records were included as evidence in a case of fraud and data selling.
Police had paid 200 euros worth of BTC to the wallet address provided by the suspect to purchase potential victim information data, and subsequently received a related Excel file.
The court ultimately sentenced the defendant to 24 months in prison.
