Advisor to the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs Majid Al-Ansari told the Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the parties to the Iran nuclear issue negotiations held in Switzerland have established a technical working group responsible for coordinating the various terms of the final agreement, which must be completed within the 60-day negotiation period.
Al-Ansari announced that technical talks between Iran and the United States were held on Sunday in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, with Pakistan and Qatar participating as mediators. The talks are expected to be conducted behind closed doors.
Al-Ansari said, “A dedicated technical working group has been announced as being set up to coordinate the various terms of the final agreement, which will cover all aspects of the memorandum of understanding. In addition, a supervisory working group has also been established to oversee the implementation of the memorandum and track the progress of the final agreement negotiations.”
