At the 2026 APEC Business Leaders China Forum held today, JD.com founder and Chairman Liu Qiangdong shared that in global operations, the key to how an enterprise can drive the development of trade worldwide and even international cooperation ultimately lies in enabling the company to do the things a company should do. Liu Qiangdong, sharing his experience of more than 20 years of deep work in the supply chain, as well as the fact that all of the group’s businesses are built 100% around the supply chain, pointed out: “As a company, how can we achieve fundamental growth, share prosperity together, and share the future? That is to truly and down-to-earthly do the things a company should do—respect local laws and legal culture, and become one with the local community—not to think about making quick money when things are going well and leaving when things are not, and not to fail to contribute to the local place.” (Sina Tech)
