The 2026 China International Financial Expo opens in Shanghai

On the morning of June 16, the 2026 China International Financial Expo opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Zou Lan, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China, and Wu Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shanghai, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. This year’s financial expo is hosted by China Financial Electronicization Group Co., Ltd., with the theme “Building a Strong Financial Nation, Laying the Foundation; Digital and Intelligent Innovation Toward the Future,” and it has been carefully planned with eight exhibition areas, each featuring distinct formats and content highlights. After the opening ceremony, a results release event was also held, along with a signing ceremony for the first batch of direct participants of the Digital Renminbi International Operation Center CBETS. China Financial Electronicization’s “Central Bank Financial Comprehensive Service Terminal,” Industrial and Commercial Bank of China’s “Digital Renminbi Cross-Border E-Commerce Solution,” Bank of Communications’ “Digital Renminbi Outsourcing for Internal Use Solution,” as well as new products from some technology companies were released in succession.
