Counterattacking against the headwinds, firmly optimistic about GT's future prospects

Looking at the 10.205 GT in my account, although the current holding cost ($6.619) is still slightly higher than the current price ($6.68), and the paper profit is marginally negative, I am filled with confidence in GT's future. This is not blind optimism but based on its solid fundamentals and grand ecological vision.

First, GT's core strength lies in its strong deflationary mechanism. Unlike many tokens lacking actual consumption, GT has a clear and continuous buyback and burn logic. The platform regularly uses revenue for on-chain burns, and so far, over 62% of the original supply has been permanently removed from circulation. This tangible "slimming" plan provides a strong value foundation for GT in the long-term supply and demand relationship.

Second, GT is undergoing a transformation from a simple "exchange deduction voucher" to a diversified Web3 infrastructure. With the advancement of Gate Layer (a high-performance Layer 2 network based on OP Stack), GT has become its exclusive foundational fuel token. Meanwhile, the Gate.io ecosystem is continuously expanding into new scenarios such as AI agent infrastructure and tokenization of U.S. stocks. This means GT's intrinsic utility is exponentially increasing, and its application scenarios are no longer limited to traditional trading fee discounts.

Investing is a practice that defies human nature. Facing the short-term paper losses, I choose to see them as an opportunity to add positions at the bottom. As ecological applications are substantively implemented and circulating supply continues to shrink, GT's long-term value will be re-priced by the market. Hold on, ride through the short-term fluctuations, and time will give the best answer.
