Bankruptcy, halving, losing so much you doubt life—just remember these 9 sentences if you've only earned 100 times so far.
I’m not afraid to admit it—I've experienced margin calls, halving, and losing so much I stared at my account late into the night, questioning if I’m even cut out for this.
But I gradually climbed back, and I realized one thing: if you've been trading crypto for over a year and your account hasn't broken 800k, what you lack isn't capital—it's understanding.
When your funds are small, don’t rush. What are small capital traders most afraid of? Full positions chasing highs, adding leverage, missing the market trend, and losing your account first.
You can’t earn beyond your understanding. Blaming the market for losses is pointless; the real reason is you didn’t understand it. If you don’t understand, practice with small positions—don’t force it.
Most news is designed to harvest your money. When the market truly starts moving, no one believes it; when the group starts shouting buy signals wildly, it’s usually already near the end.
I usually trade less around holidays, especially with high leverage—those times are most likely to get swept up unexpectedly.
Don’t try to eat everything in a medium- or long-term trade. Sell a little when it rises, buy a little when it falls, and gradually grow your position—no need to rush.
Downward declines are the most frustrating, but sharp drops can sometimes be profitable. The rebound after panic selling is often more reliable.
Admit your mistakes. As long as your principal is intact, there’s still a chance. Holding on stubbornly will only turn small losses into big ones.
Keep your watchlist simple. Familiar candlestick patterns and one or two indicators are enough. The more you watch, the more confusing it gets.
Final advice: master one technique to perfection. Don’t learn this today and that tomorrow. Those who consistently make money rely on one set of skills they know inside out and use repeatedly.
Understanding and discipline are truly more important than short-term profits.
