During negotiations, Trump issues threats again. International oil prices rose at the Monday open.
Jin10 Data, June 22 — After Trump threatened that if Hezbollah continues to attack Israel, the United States will strike Iran, concerns about the progress of peace talks between Washington and Tehran were triggered. International oil prices opened higher on Monday, with WTI crude rising by as much as 1.7%. Just days after Trump signed a memorandum of understanding last week to initiate a de-escalation process, a 60-day negotiation window had just begun. The high-level meeting in the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock marked the start of this period. Although Iran claimed to have closed the Strait of Hormuz again, during the weekend, several million barrels of oil continued to be transported through the strait.

Sources say US-Iran negotiations are still on hold
Jinshi Data, June 22nd — According to Iranian sources on the 22nd, a source stated that Iran and the United States held talks in Switzerland starting around 3 p.m. local time on the 21st. After about an hour and a half, the negotiations were paused for a 30-minute break due to the need for internal consultations among the delegations. However, because Trump made threatening remarks, the Iranian delegation refused to return to continue the negotiations. Nonetheless, Qatar and Pakistan are still mediating, and Iran and the US are passing messages through intermediaries.
Currently, mediation efforts are ongoing, but no final results have been achieved. During the negotiations, the Iranian delegation explicitly protested against the US side’s breach of commitments, especially violations of the first article of the Memorandum of Understanding. (CCTV)

Iranian President Reaffirms No Relinquishment of Uranium Enrichment Rights
Jin10 Data, June 21 — Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated in a video broadcast by Iranian media today (June 21) that Iran will never give up its right to uranium enrichment, and the United States will ultimately be forced to accept this. #伊朗总统说美国无法无视伊朗权利# Raisi said that U.S. President Donald Trump's attitude has done a 180-degree turn; he previously said Iran must surrender unconditionally, without rights to this or that, and then later said Iran has rights, with a complete reversal of stance, indicating that Trump has acknowledged that the U.S. cannot ignore Iran's rights.
