Mars Finance News, on June 21, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei, accompanying the Iranian negotiation delegation to Switzerland, stated that Iran is committed to following up on the implementation process of the commitments made by the other party with a rigorous and serious attitude. Baghaei said that the meeting held in Switzerland that day aimed to follow up on the implementation of relevant clauses in the Iran-U.S. understanding memorandum. According to Article 13 of the memorandum, the initiation of final agreement negotiations depends on the implementation of Articles 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11. Until these clauses—especially Article 1 (ending the war on all fronts including Lebanon)—are executed, it is impossible to enter the final agreement negotiation stage. The focus of the talks that day was on the implementation of the above clauses, particularly Article 1. At the same time, relevant measures drafted for the implementation of Article 10 (Iranian oil exports) and Article 11 (unfreezing Iran’s frozen assets) were also reviewed. (CCTV News)
